Introduction
Wylum VPN services are made available through EMC Management Solutions Inc., acting as an authorized agent under a business agreement with Massachusetts Local Telephone Company Inc. (MLTC), a registered telecommunications carrier. All underlying internet services are provisioned through MLTC and may be subject to the End User Service Agreement (EUSA) terms where applicable. By using Wylum, you agree to the terms of this agreement, which incorporate applicable pass-through terms from MLTC where required.
These terms are entered into by and between you and EMC Management Solutions Inc., doing business as Wylum (“Wylum”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Wylum respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our VPN service (“Service”) to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), Wylum will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement committed using our network or services.
Although Wylum does not monitor or log the content or activities of our VPN users, we take DMCA notices seriously and cooperate as required by U.S. law.

Subject: DMCA Takedown Notice
To be effective, your DMCA notice must include the following:
Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
Identification of the material that is allegedly infringing, including sufficient information for us to locate it;
Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address;
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Important Notes:
Wylum is a privacy-focused VPN provider and does not log user activity. This limits our ability to identify or take action against specific users unless compelled by valid legal process.
As a service provider under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), we comply with the DMCA’s safe harbor provisions.
We may forward the contents of your DMCA notice to the alleged infringing party.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed or access was disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent. The counter-notification must include:
Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which it appeared before removal;
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification;
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Suffolk County, MA, if you are outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the DMCA notification or an agent of that party.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in question unless we receive notice that a legal action has been filed seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
These terms may be updated periodically. We will notify subscribers of significant changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
